I Have used this company they quoted me £900 to move me from wincanton to Wilton, we had to wait for the keys which took 2hrs one of the porters then phone back to the office, and then i was contacted by a Mr Carter saying because of the wait he would have to charge me an extra £450 plus vat. I could not belive i had to pay that much and this company is a member of the B.A.R i will never use a removal company again that is a member of this circus out fit. So be very very aware when using this company. B Willis....

I used this company to move and the move itself went very smoothly. However - and this is something that you should be aware of - what happens to all the boxes when you\'ve unpacked them? I was instructed to not to keep the boxes intact (not folded flat) and to call armishaws to collect them within 2 weeks. I did this. They did not collect them (just imagine how much room they take up - when you have been told not to fold them - A WHOLE ROOM!). I had to call repeatedly over the next month to find out when they would be collected. I spoke to several different people. I was serially told that they were too busy, had no other removals in my area so couldn\'t do it until they did, would collect within 7 days (they didn\'t). I finally got a promise that they would be collected on a particular day and would be contacted to arrange a time. Four days before the arranged day, some of the boxes disappeared - it turns out that the removal team happened to see them and helped themselves - without knocking on the door. When I called the office to find out what had happened, the company owner was extremely rude, offered no apology for the inconvience I had suffered over the past month and then put the phone down on me. He was not interested in the constructive feedback that I offered to him. I would not recommend dealing with a company that does not handle simple problems effectively. What would have happened if there had been a serious problem. I have no confidence that the company would have been interested in solving it....
